Senior Product Software Engineer - .Net Fullstack Developer - .Net Core + Angular

Overview

Senior Product Software Engineer (Full Stack) working on the Wiz Suite of Products within Wolters Kluwer DXG Financial and Compliance Services, Pune.

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy application to Azure using Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS.
• Develop and implement code using best practices aligned with technical and business roadmap.
• Contribute to necessary architecture documentation and participate in gate reviews covering infrastructure, security and performance.
• Collaborate with Architects on high-level architecture and design.
• Specify application low-level design and technical documentation.
• Understand and implement security, compliance and performance needs.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security and DevOps teams.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and Product Managers.
• Design APIs and understand how API shape impacts usability and user experience.
• Manage and maintain the product environment: repository and versioning, build management and deployments.
• Handle the product release cycle, best practices, code reviews and defect management; efficiently handle changes and enhancements.
• Ensure deliverables are self-certified before transitioning to QA and customers.
• Ensure best design practices and processes are followed for continuous improvement of the product.

What you'll need

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of development experience.
• C#.NET and .NET Core 3.x and above.
• Azure.
• REST services and WebAPI.
• Angular 12+ and Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding and experience with HTML5, CSS, JSON and JS libraries.
• SQL, Visual Studio 2017-2019 and Azure DevOps in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of and experience with an agile SDLC.
• Experience in Agile methodologies/Scrum, Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
• Strong understanding and experience with Spec Driven Development (SDD).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot (GHCP) or equivalent GenAI tools.
• Experience using Copilot or similar AI tools to improve developer productivity.
• Good database concepts and hands-on design and development experience.
• Experience in security, performance and integration with third-party components and applications.
• Strong knowledge of multi-threading and application clustering, scalability, performance, application security, code analysis and optimization.
• Experience in product release cycle, best practices, code reviews and defect management.

Nice to have

• Some experience with reporting technologies such as SSRS, Power BI or equivalent.
• Advanced technical degree and/or related training and certification.
• Experience with customer-facing AI feature development.
• Experience with microservice-based architecture.
• Experience with Dapper and AG Grid.
• SSO using SAML / PingFederate.
• Azure or Microsoft certifications.
