Senior QA Engineer, Performance Testing

Overview

Senior QA Engineer focused on performance testing for Skylo’s cloud and connectivity platforms running on GCP. You will build automation and execute load, regression, and performance validation for platform and cloud services.

What you'll do

• Design and implement automation test suites for customer-facing REST APIs and cloud component features.
• Create performance benchmarks for handling millions of subscriber and data transactions.
• Develop load and regression testing frameworks and test suites.
• Validate the system with millions of data transactions and produce reports and KPIs.
• Automate regression test suites in Jenkins pipelines using Robot Framework.
• Set up monitoring to measure health and performance of applications and network infrastructure.
• Ensure network changes are version-controlled and reproducible.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience in validation and test automation for backend-heavy cloud-deployed applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud QA Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, JMeter, and/or TestNG.
• Ability to use Jenkins for test automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Git).

• Onsite in Bangalore, India for 3 days a week in office.
