SQA Engineer, Performance

Overview

Senior Performance Engineer/SQA Engineer (Performance) focused on performance testing and improving application performance across enterprise and distributed services.

What you'll do

• Design and execute performance test strategies for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Run load, stress, spike, soak, scalability, and capacity testing.
• Conduct API performance testing for REST APIs and related services.
• Analyze monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product, and Infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Integrate performance tests with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automate using Python/PowerShell.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of experience in Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of LoadRunner.
• API performance testing experience using REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Jenkins and Git experience plus basic scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights.
• Experience with Azure or AWS hosting and knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
