Senior Security Engineer

Overview

Senior Security Engineer to strengthen Ambient.ai’s security posture while supporting initiatives across products, infrastructure, and corporate environments.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute security initiatives across products, infrastructure, and the corporate environment.
• Conduct security reviews of systems, architecture, and proposed changes with actionable recommendations.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs via control implementation, evidence collection, and audit preparation.
• Implement and maintain cloud and endpoint security controls, including identity and access management and monitoring.
• Investigate security alerts and support incident response and follow-up improvements.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities and track remediation to closure.
• Complete security questionnaires and respond to customer/partner security due diligence requests.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience in security engineering, information security, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments such as AWS and Google Cloud.
• Working knowledge of endpoint security, identity and access management, network security, encryption, and security monitoring.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and verification.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls, audit evidence, and compliance workflows.
• Ability to write scripts or automation in Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
