Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Backend) responsible for designing, building, and implementing integrations and systems for a supply chain visibility platform in an Agile environment.

What you'll do

• Build state-of-the-art integrations for connected carriers and customers.
• Manage integrations throughout their life cycle.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the supply chain visibility platform owned by the team.
• Build systems in a multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems.
• Own software delivery across development, operations, and testing, including on-call responsibilities with the team.
• Invest in tools, monitoring, and automation to improve on-call experience.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of professional experience building large-scale real-time or near real-time cloud systems.
• Strong programming and debugging skills, with proficiency in Java.
• Experience building systems in a multi-cloud environment using AWS and GCP (values experience with Azure).
• Experience creating and working with scalable Java-based micro-services.
• Experience working with databases, preferably Postgres or other SQL-based databases.
• Experience with event stores and stream-processing in Kafka or Kinesis.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.

• Location: Bangalore.
• In-office commitment: work in-office three days weekly.
