Overview
Senior Software Engineer responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure backend systems and APIs while using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
What you'll do
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, documentation, and testing.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and performance before deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Own one or more product modules and work with the Technical Lead to deliver solutions.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks across the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain system availability.
What you'll need
- 5–8 years overall software development experience.
- 4+ years backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript.
- 3+ years experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3; ECS/EKS preferred).
- 3+ years experience designing and developing microservices.
- 2+ years experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 1+ years experience using monitoring and code quality tools such as SonarQube, Datadog, AppDynamics, or CloudWatch.
- 1–2 years experience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools in daily engineering.

- Willingness to travel occasionally to Continental R&D centers and partner locations.
