Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for owning, designing, and delivering software functionality for customer escalations and support incidents. The role is part of the Customer Sustaining Engineering team in Bangalore and reports to the Engineering Manager.

What you'll do

• Develop software solutions for customer escalations and support incidents.
• Investigate and resolve defects with cross-functional teams.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create, validate, and deliver customer patches or solutions.
• Apply TDD/BDD techniques and CI/CD processes.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Manage priorities and workload using Kanban or Scrumban practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Full-stack development experience with Java and JavaScript using React or Angular.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful API development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI service integrations.
• Database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools.
• Experience resolving complex performance, scalability, reliability, security, memory management, or distributed-systems issues.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences or regulated environments.
• Experience participating in customer or internal audits and following QMS procedures.
• Experience with network and technical troubleshooting tools.
• Experience promoting engineering best practices and quality.
