Overview

Senior Software Engineer–Data Analyst responsible for analysing product and business performance, building reliable metrics, and turning data findings into recommendations. The role works with large datasets, customer behaviour data, experiments, and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Analyse business and product performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Use SQL to extract and analyse large datasets from multiple sources.
• Use Python or R to explore data and test hypotheses.
• Build metrics, reports, and simulations.
• Analyse website journeys, event data, and customer behaviour.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate changes and experiments.
• Partner with product, marketing, engineering, and business teams on actionable recommendations.

What you'll need

• 4.5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer–Data Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and large datasets.
• Working proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
• Foundation in mathematics and statistics.
• Experience with descriptive analytics.
• Working understanding of machine learning concepts and practical use.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
