Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Developer (Full-Stack) on the IAM team, conducting software product research and leading engineering development of advanced technologies into new products.

What you'll do

• Conduct complex software product research leading to new or improved products to maintain the company's competitive position and profitability.
• Lead the engineering organization in developing and applying one or more advanced technologies into new product developments.
• Identify and create patent disclosures.
• Provide technical advice to other departments and coordinate research and development activities with other departments/functions.
• Establish goals to meet the objectives.
• Participate in the development of larger modules, including requirements analysis, architectural design, or detailed design tasks.
• Operate independently to contribute to the development of new approaches and techniques.
• Participate in short-term planning of engineering projects and programs.
• Execute development tasks on projects, test to guarantee the technical quality of the solution, and handle security vulnerabilities.
• Analyse customer requirements.
• Be responsible for analysis and determination of overall software design tradeoffs on a project.
• Ensure company's products remain marketable and competitive.

What you'll need

• In-depth knowledge in Software Engineering and command over at least one programming language.
• Good design and refactoring skills, and knowledge of static and dynamic memory analysis tools.
• Good understanding of OOP and design patterns that avoid redundancy and promote efficiency, legibility, testability, and maintainability of code.
• Strong design and development hands-on experience using latest front-end technology stack (Angular 10, 11 and 12, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js etc).
• Strong design and development hands-on experience using latest back-end technologies like Node.js and Microsoft technology stack (.NET Core, MVC, C#, API's etc), responsible for analysis, design, development, maintenance and support for various client-server web applications.
• Understanding and experience with relational databases and other components for full solution development such as infrastructure and middleware components.
• Proficient in professional communication, with extremely good cross-cultural communication skills.
• Open to work as an Individual Contributor.
• Strong problem solver and analytical thinker, curious, autonomous, a fast learner and team player.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communication.
• AI SDLC development.
• 5+ years of experience required.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of implementation experience with SSO and federation using SAML 2.0, OAuth, OIDC.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Experience with Active Directory or other directory services.
• Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and authorization.
