Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Enablement

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Appian’s Engineering Enablement Group, leading the redesign and evolution of the Mobile Branding framework.

What you'll do

• Lead the re-design and evolution of the mobile branding framework for iOS and Android.
• Modernize the end-to-end branding pipeline from customer-facing tools to the backend build service.
• Drive architectural modernization using microservices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Bridge Ruby/Bash-based tooling, Appian process models, and AWS infrastructure to deliver mobile branding.
• Transform the platform to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Reduce manual intervention and accelerate customer delivery.

What you'll need

• 6–9 years of working experience with Android and iOS frameworks and mobile app development workflows.
• Familiarity with mobile build systems including Fastlane, Xcode, and Gradle.
• Experience with code-signing workflows.
• Proficiency in Python; Ruby, Bash, or Go experience is a plus.
• Advanced experience with AWS infrastructure including S3, Lambda, and EC2.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
