Specialist DevOps Engineer

Overview

Specialist DevOps Engineer role focused on designing, producing, and testing software that meets functional and non-functional requirements within given time and resource constraints.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Streamline operational workflows by creating automation scripts and tools using shell scripting and other programming languages.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, build failures, and deployment issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain configuration management practices and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Document processes, systems, and configurations and perform production and non-production maintenance and upgrades.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines (declarative and scripted).
• Proficiency in shell scripting or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Work model: hybrid (2 days office, 3 days remote each week).
• Occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed.
