Ops Engineer

Overview

Ops Engineer role focused on building and maintaining infrastructure platforms for applications and data systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. You will also drive automation, incident management, and secure configuration across IT infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Develop, deliver, and maintain infrastructure solutions aligned to business needs.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to identify and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
• Use data to reduce mean time to resolution.
• Build automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement secure configurations and controls to protect infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define infrastructure requirements and ensure integration.

What you'll need

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, log aggregation tools (CloudWatch Logs and ELK), and Infrastructure-as-Code with CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management in banking or financial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Minimum qualification: bachelor’s degree.

Nice to have

• Scripting skills (Python or Java) for operational automation.
• DevOps experience.
