Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Overview

Lead the development of complex software features and contribute to architectural decisions across Tekion's platforms, while mentoring junior engineers and driving technical excellence.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, high-performance systems and services to support business growth and technical evolution.
• Lead feature development from concept to deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to influence system design and technical strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and code quality.
• Conduct code reviews, set engineering standards, and drive adoption of best practices across the team.
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve technical challenges in production and development environments.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native services, and performance optimization.
• Experience with microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving, mentorship, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade software and improving team effectiveness.
