Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) - CONSUMER INTELLIGENCE & ENGAGEMENT

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to build and operate backend services for membership and loyalty capabilities that power real-time consumer experiences across digital channels.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate scalable, low-latency APIs and event-driven services for membership and loyalty use cases.
• Develop and evolve customer-facing web applications and supporting backend services across digital channels.
• Configure, extend, and integrate the Antavo loyalty platform including workflows, rewards, member lifecycle, event processing, and promotions.
• Design and implement integrations between Antavo and enterprise commerce and data platforms for member data synchronization.
• Apply distributed systems principles (e.g., asynchronous processing, idempotency, caching, retries, circuit breakers, event-driven architectures).
• Ensure solutions are secure, observable, reliable, and resilient; monitor and troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews while contributing to engineering standards and reusable libraries.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience designing and building large scale distributed backend systems on cloud-native platforms.
• Experience implementing or integrating enterprise loyalty platforms, with Antavo preferred.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms for real-world use cases.
• Backend engineering expertise including API design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and scalable integration using Java and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of React and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience with Node.js and related frameworks.
• Experience with event streaming platforms like Kafka, plus SQL/No-SQL database experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer digital products is strongly preferred.
