Senior Software Engineer I (Golang, React.js, PostgreSQL, Kafka & Cloud)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer I responsible for developing high-quality, production software in compliance with coding standards and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver designs, code, and tests on time.

What you'll do

• Support engineering teams with research, analysis, and documentation of findings.
• Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, alignment with industry standards, and compatibility with operating systems.
• Participate in testing via test review and analysis, test witnessing, and software certification.
• Help improve organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Backend development with Golang (mandatory).
• Frontend development with React.js (mandatory).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (or RDBMS) and caching (Redis/Memcached).
• Cloud and DevOps skills including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Messaging experience with Kafka (or similar).
