Golang Developer

Overview

Golang Developer role focused on building and maintaining backend microservices and APIs using Golang.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend microservices and APIs using Golang.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build scalable and secure service components.
• Support existing applications with debugging, maintenance, and performance improvements.
• Build and integrate backend services with databases, messaging platforms, and internal systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation pipelines using Buildkite.

What you'll need

• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience building applications in Golang.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with message brokers/event-driven platforms such as Kafka and AWS EventBridge/SQS/SNS.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Good understanding of authentication/authorization mechanisms including OAuth2 and JWT.
