Senior Software Engineer (Mainframe Developer)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on Mainframe development for Core Payments, supporting authorization, clearing, and debit functionalities.

What you'll do

• Analyze and create solutions for Core Payments teams.
• Design and develop high-performance software that meets business requirements.
• Develop project schedules and track deliverables.
• Maintain and present project metrics reporting for management review.
• Coordinate with other groups and vendors to ensure project success.
• Lead initiatives for automation, defect metrics, and overall quality.
• Coordinate between teams across various locations.

What you'll need

• Proficiency with COBOL tools including COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, PROC, Micro Focus COBOL, and TWS Scheduler.
• Hands-on software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Micro Focus COBOL, DB2 LUW, and TWS Scheduler.
• Experience in full lifecycle development and using development methodologies including Agile.
• Experience in batch and online development.
• Experience with CI and CD.
• Ability to guide people to implement the right solution.
