Developer - Life Asia

Overview

Developer role focused on enhancing and maintaining Prudential’s Core admin system and Life/400 (Life Asia) applications.

What you'll do

• Enhance and maintain the Core admin system.
• Work with front-end system teams to support the end-to-end software lifecycle.
• Define and document scope changes during the project lifecycle.
• Analyze problems and implement technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications and maintain/document changes.
• Perform unit/integration testing and quality analysis before acceptance testing.
• Conduct technical reviews/quality analysis of code written by junior members.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience with AS/400 and SMART/400-based insurance applications (Life/400, Life/Asia).
• Experience working with LifeAsia SOAP APIs.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
• Ability to develop/customize/enhance/maintain/support Life/400 and Life/Asia applications.
• Data Query Language: SQL400.
• DB2 database experience.
• Development skills: COBOL400 and SMART400.
