Senior - Software Engineer MarTech (Adobe Experience Platform & Real-Time CDP)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer bridging enterprise data pipelines and marketing activation platforms, focused on customer profiles, audience segmentation and activation use cases within the Adobe ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of ETL processes, data lakes and enterprise integrations, working closely with Data Engineers.
• Utilize the software development lifecycle to implement technology solutions that create and enhance applications.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and application code, and develop design specs including UI layouts.
• Provide technical on-call escalation and guidance to the on-call developer(s).
• Create and execute unit tests to proactively identify issues; analyze and review code to identify causes of errors and defects and remediate known errors.
• Define and enforce relevant code standards; estimate and size work based on high-level requirements.
• Design and lead the development of complex software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals; oversee the SDLC and conduct code reviews.
• Optimize system performance and scalability through modern frameworks; resolve system defects and bottlenecks.
• Strategize UI/UX enhancements; collaborate with design and development teams and analyze user feedback.
• Mentor Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers, providing peer coaching and feedback.
• Work autonomously, providing technical supervision to peers; drive projects such as GitHub, Copilot or AWS Migration.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 1 cloud certification: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
• 5-8 years of work experience in related field (SDLC across Full Stack, Frontend and Backend Development and UI/UX engineering).

Nice to have

• 8+ years related work experience.
• Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Web/Mobile SDK and Data Collection (Adobe Launch) implementation and event tracking.
• XDM schema design, identity namespace configuration, profile merge policies, and identity governance.
• Real-Time CDP audience creation, segmentation, and activation.
• Destination configuration and outbound integrations.
• Privacy, consent management, data governance, and regulatory compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
• Customer profile management and audience activation strategies.
• Adobe Certified Expert – Real-Time CDP Developer.
• Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Experience Platform Developer.
• Skills: Agile Methodology, DevOps, Java, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, Full Stack Development, AWS Development, React.js, Angular, Flutter, Software Development Kit (SDK), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Intelligent Services.
