Senior Software Engineer - Message Security Detection

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for message security detection. You will lead architecture and scaling of distributed data pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure for real-time threat detection.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain high-throughput detection systems and backend services for low latency and high reliability.
• Develop data pipelines using Spark and Airflow to provide data for ML training and evaluation.
• Define technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive code quality and system design best practices.
• Lead adoption of AI productivity initiatives and tools like Claude, OpenAI, and GitHub Copilot.
• Collaborate with TPMs, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Security Researchers to build scalable solutions.
• Manage and optimize AWS/EKS infrastructure for cost, security, and performance.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Production backend development experience with Python or Golang.
• Expert proficiency building and optimizing distributed data pipelines with Spark and Airflow (or equivalent).
• Experience managing and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS (preferred), or GCP/Azure.
• Hands-on container orchestration experience with EKS.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Strong system design skills for integration and high-throughput/low-latency challenges.
