Senior Software Engineer (Python/Go, Infrastructure)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Platform team, responsible for maintaining and improving core architecture and providing common foundations, merge and deployment strategy, monitoring, and technological guidance for product teams.

What you'll do

• Design, build and operate backend services for authentication, authorisation and account management.
• Model multi-tenant account structures (organisations, teams, membership and roles) and keep the model correct as the product grows.
• Design and evolve public and internal APIs, including versioning and backward compatibility.
• Integrate enterprise identity: single sign-on over SAML and OIDC, and provisioning over SCIM.
• Build event-driven integrations over Kafka, including schema design and compatibility.
• Keep services available and fast on the request path, across several regions.
• Own what you build in production: metrics, tracing, alerting, and on-call for your own services.
