Senior Software Engineer (SSE) - MERN Stack

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (MERN Stack) role focused on designing and developing scalable web applications, building rich dashboard-based UIs, and leading development teams.

What you'll do

• Develop responsive and interactive UI components using React.js and state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, optimize, and manage MongoDB databases to ensure scalability and performance.
• Build and enhance rich, data-driven dashboard interfaces with excellent user experience.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Lead and mentor development teams, driving engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Implement automated testing and ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments for streamlined deployments.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in full-stack development using the MERN Stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Redux or Context API for state management.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in building rich and highly interactive dashboard applications.
• Experience with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
• Proven experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
