Senior Software QA Engineer

Overview

Senior Software QA Engineer on NVIDIA's System Ethernet QA Team, testing and qualifying NVIDIA Ethernet solutions and writing Python-based automation.

What you'll do

• Review architecture, design and requirements for new features introduced in the product.
• Design, develop, and implement tests for new features, as part of SW GA releases and update releases.
• Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugging to understand root cause, and verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, raising issues if not fixed.
• Implement system tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional and security.
• Write automation tests and framework APIs based on Python.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA / Networking.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Confirmed networking knowledge and hands-on experience (switching & routing).
• Confident understanding of routing protocols: BGP/EVPN, VXLAN/OSPF.
• Confident understanding of multicast features: PIM/IGMP.
• Confident understanding of QoS features: PFC/ECN/RoCE and more.
• Automation / scripting skills and experience in Python and Linux Bash.
• Ability to handle several tasks in parallel and optimally prioritize and responsibly complete them.

Nice to have

• CCNP or CCIE certification.
• Experience in Python automation and source control tools.
• Good Linux and Linux kernel knowledge.
• Experience with compute and virtualization environments: Linux KVM, VMware, ESXi.
