Overview
Senior Staff Software Development Engineer in Test responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated testing capabilities across enterprise software platforms. The role focuses on hands-on programming, test automation, CI/CD, cloud environments, and production troubleshooting.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks, libraries, utilities, and reusable components.
- Build automated tests for SaaS applications, APIs, services, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Use AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate test development, code analysis, debugging, and coverage.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, runners, build systems, and reporting infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, application issues, environment problems, and production defects.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, DevOps, operations, and QA teams to improve quality.
- Improve testability, observability, reliability, performance, maintainability, and automation efficiency.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of software engineering, SDET, DevTest, or QA automation experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Programming experience in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar language.
- Experience building automation frameworks, test libraries, reusable components, and infrastructure.
- Experience testing APIs, backend services, web applications, distributed systems, or enterprise software.
- Strong CI/CD, cloud, debugging, database, version control, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and independently build significant automated test coverage.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, IT management, cybersecurity, endpoint management, or RMM platforms.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST-assured, pytest, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, relational databases, or major CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with large-scale SDET frameworks, API automation, contract testing, or distributed-system testing.

- Production issue reproduction and troubleshooting outside standard working hours may be required.
