Senior Technical Lead - ASW Software

Overview

Senior technical lead role in ASW (application software) development for the eConverterControl component, covering power electronics, onboard charger (OBC) and DCDC control software, within Cariad India's VW.OS platform work.

What you'll do

• Analyze requirements and design software functions for Power Electronics, Onboard Charger (OBC) and DCDC.
• Develop control algorithms using model-based development in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.

What you'll need

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Electrical or Power Electronics and Drives.
• At least 5-12 years of working experience in Model Based Development of Control Algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
• Strong understanding of control algorithms and techniques for OBC, DCDC and Power Electronics, and debugging for automotive ECU development projects.
• Experience with modelling guidelines (MXAM) and coding guidelines/standards (MISRA C/C++).
• Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay or Ethernet.
• Familiarity with UDS (ISO 14229) or diagnostic protocols, and experience working with CANalyzer, CANoe, or Wireshark for network debugging and validation.
• Working knowledge of tools like PTC Integrity, Codebeamer, DOORS and Jira.
• Experience in system debugging using tools like Lauterbach (TRACE32) or iSYSTEM.
• Experience in SAFe agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using testing tools like TPT and GTEST.
