Senior Technical Program Manager

Overview

Lead complex technology and business projects, translating technical complexity into clear terms for stakeholders and technology teams.

What you'll do

• Lead complex projects involving technology and business resources.
• Develop detailed project plans, identify resource requirements, define performance indicators, and produce status reports.
• Create and maintain integrated project plans, incorporate updates and changes, and prepare reports and presentations for leadership review.
• Resolve issues and problems throughout the project life cycle.
• Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members regarding project efforts.
• Coordinate with partners to oversee capacity needs and communicate status updates and challenges to diverse audiences.
• Complete post-project evaluations, identifying best practices and process improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5+ years of experience as a program or project manager, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services in a software development environment.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
• Strong analytical, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive multiple project activities with varying complexity.
• Proficiency with Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Demonstrable ability to manage people and resources, and work independently with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
