Role Summary:

This is a unique role for a developer who refuses to be siloed into a single operating system. At Sajre Edutech, you will be the primary owner of our mobile presence. You will build, maintain, and evolve our native applications for both iOS and Android from a single product vision. You won't just be "helping out" on one side; you will be the core engineer responsible for feature parity and high performance across the entire mobile spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dual-Platform Development: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality native applications for both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).

• Feature Parity: Ensure that new features are launched simultaneously and function consistently across both platforms while respecting platform-specific UI/UX guidelines.

• Architecture Design: Implement scalable architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) that allow for logic sharing or consistency across both codebases.

• API Management: Seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs and handle complex data synchronization for offline-first educational content.

• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end process from UI implementation and coding to App Store and Play Store deployments.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize memory usage, battery consumption, and load times for a diverse range of devices (from high-end iPhones to budget Android tablets).

Core Requirements (The "Double-Threat" Skill Set)

1. iOS Expertise:

• Proficiency in Swift and Xcode.

• Strong experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.

• Deep understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

• Experience with CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, and App Store Connect.

2. Android Expertise:

• Proficiency in Kotlin (and familiarity with Java).

• Strong experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.

• Expertise in Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation).

• Deep understanding of Material Design principles and handling fragmentation.

3. General Mobile Engineering:

• 2+ years of professional experience shipping apps on both platforms.

• Experience with local storage (SQLite, Room, Core Data).

• Strong mastery of Git and CI/CD pipelines for mobile.

Bonus Skills (Plus Points)

• Experience with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) to share business logic between platforms.

• Experience with EdTech-specific features: Video encryption, offline DRM, or interactive Canvas-based quizzes.

• Familiarity with Firebase (Push Notifications, Analytics, Crashlytics).
