Seniour Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing and delivering secure Java and Spring Boot microservices, with a focus on mortgage systems, GenAI/LLM workflows, and scalable production solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document Java microservices and projects.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs using Clean Architecture and DDD principles.
• Translate mortgage requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Drive GenAI and LLM adoption through prompt engineering and workflow orchestration.
• Conduct code reviews and support DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize production systems for availability and performance.
• Lead projects, resolve technical challenges, and guide less experienced staff.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Experience with microservices, integration patterns, and Oracle JDBC (UCP).
• Experience with GenAI developer tools and multi-model LLM strategies.
• Experience in mortgage origination, underwriting, servicing, or default management.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and secure coding.

Nice to have

• Practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLM workflows, and prompt design.
• Exposure to Kafka, cloud-native patterns, and DevSecOps.
• Experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead.
• Proficiency with Gradle, Git, and Agile delivery methodologies.
