Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and after-sales support for electrical control panels used in construction equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical wiring, control circuits, and field service activities, with the ability to independently handle customer service assignments.
Educational Qualification
- ITI (Electrician / Wireman) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical control panels and power panels.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical components such as MCCB, MCB, Contactor, Relay, Timer, VFD, PLC I/O wiring, SMPS, Power Supply, Sensors, Push Buttons, Selector Switches, and HMI connections.
- Experience in panel wiring, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electrical measuring instruments such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, and Insulation Tester (Megger).
- Basic understanding of PLC-based control systems.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer service across India.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test electrical control panels at customer sites.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical panels and associated equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform quick troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Perform wiring modifications and replacement of faulty electrical components.
- Ensure proper functioning of MCC, PCC, and control panels after servicing.
- Inspect field wiring and verify electrical connections before commissioning.
- Coordinate with production and design teams for technical support and issue resolution.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports after every site visit.
- Provide technical guidance and basic operational training to customers.
- Attend emergency service calls and ensure timely resolution.
- Follow electrical safety standards and company safety procedures during all field activities.
- Support factory testing (FAT) and panel inspection whenever required.
- Maintain good customer relationships through professional service and timely communication.
- Report recurring technical issues and suggest improvements for product reliability.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
