Service Engineer

Overview

Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support ELV and security systems including Access Control, Fire Alarm (FAS), CCTV, Servers, and BMS.

What you'll do

• Install, commission, test, and maintain Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in security and automation systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
• Configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and security platform system software.
• Monitor system performance to ensure maximum uptime for client installations.
• Coordinate with customers for service requirements and provide timely resolutions.

What you'll need

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Access Control, FAS, CCTV, Server installation/troubleshooting, and BMS.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts including IP addressing, switches, and routers.
• Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

• Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
• Travel to client sites as required.
