ServiceNow ATF QA Engineer

Overview

Perform software quality assurance engineering for assigned applications or system elements, including ServiceNow testing and automated functional testing.

What you'll do

• Perform Software QA Engineering for an assigned set of applications or system elements.
• Work with team members to review client requirements, design and associated functional specifications.
• Create and develop test plans and cases based on functional and design specifications.
• Contribute to development of computer programs or scripts to automate functional tests.
• Execute test cases and analyze and report test results to relevant stakeholders and teams.
• Investigate, triage and troubleshoot issues, communicating insights and recommendations to peers, developers and leadership.
• Prepare testing and reporting documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support quality improvement initiatives for future applications or projects.
• Assess the required effort and timeline for own test activities as an input for the overall test plan.
• Train and mentor junior testers on the team.

What you'll need

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ServiceNow testing experience is a must.

Nice to have

• Automated testing using ServiceNow ATF is preferred.
• CSA certification will be a boost.
