What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data solutions.
• Develop and implement data pipelines, data storage solutions, and data processing frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data models and data dictionaries.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud computing technologies and data engineering best practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related stream.
• 5+ years of total IT experience.
• Hands-on experience in SQL, Snowflake, Cloud (AWS or GCP) and Python or equivalent programming language.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with knowledge of designing, implementing, testing cloud computing solutions.
• Strong knowledge in SQL, Snowflake, Python, and AWS or GCP services.
• A highly effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
• Problem-solving and architecting skills in cases of unclear requirements.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience on Databricks.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and Terraform.
