SOC Analyst

Overview

SOC Analyst responsible for writing, tuning, and responding to security alerts across endpoints and cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Review and triage security alerts from multiple sources.
• Tune alert rules to reduce false positives.
• Write new rules to improve MITRE ATT&CK coverage.
• Escalate potential incidents and assist with incident response activities.
• Run security monitoring projects end-to-end.
• Work with Engineering and IT to improve visibility coverage and detection.

What you'll need

• 4+ years responding to alerts in a similar role.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Comfortable writing and tuning detection rules.
• Experience triaging alerts to determine if an event is an incident.
• Exposure to application, SaaS, cloud, and end-point logs.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical people.

Details

• Onsite work is required (Monday to Friday) at the Bangalore office.
• Regular-business-hours coverage is required; weekend coverage and occasional evenings are necessary.
• Expectation to support 24x7 coverage with occasional stepping in to assist.
