Software Application Development Engineer - Sales Incentives

Overview

Software Application Development Engineer for the Sales Incentives domain, building and maintaining applications and integrations that support Intel’s Sales Compensation process.

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end solutions for sales incentives processes using full-stack development across analyst, development, and QA responsibilities.
• Develop using Salesforce, Varicent ICM, Varicent ELT (or equivalent sales incentives tools), and Python-based solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between sales compensation platforms and business systems.
• Collaborate with teams across different time zones using flexible working hours.
• Contribute technically and mentor within the Sales Incentives domain.
• Participate in agile development processes with Product Management and Development teams.
• Own end-to-end quality, including Definition of Done, acceptance criteria validation, and unit/functional/regression testing.

What you'll need

• 3-4 years of software development experience.
• At least 2+ years of relevant Sales Incentives domain experience.
• Experience using at least one sales incentives tool (e.g., Varicent ICM, Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Core Commissions).
• Salesforce development experience: Apex, Lightning, APIs, and configuration.
• GitHub repository management skills.
• Python programming skills.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
• API development and system integration expertise.
