Overview

VP-level Python Software Engineer to design, produce, test, and implement working software across the full system lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design, produce, test, and implement working software across the system lifecycle.
• Develop knowledge across business, applications, data, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Apply Agile methods to develop software from the backlog.
• Produce resilient, long-lived software and adapt to future needs.
• Deliver intentional architecture and formulate emergent design via experimentation and prototyping.
• Design and develop software focused on automating build, test, and deployment.
• Collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand platform support for business objectives.

What you'll need

• Strong full stack experience in software design and implementation.
• Ability to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems.
• Capability for complex requirements analysis and validation vs business and systems requirements.
• Experience leading implementation of programming best practices for scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimization, availability, and performance.
• Collaboration skills to work with business teams on pragmatic solutions.
• Experience with information security policies and practices within the financial sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to explain complex technical concepts simply.
