Software Engineer

Overview

A seasoned React Developer role to independently implement complex UI screens and collaborate with UX designers to deliver intuitive, high-performance web applications.

What you'll do

• Independently design and deliver complex, high-quality React UI components and screens aligned to agreed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Partner closely with UX designers to translate design concepts into intuitive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of front-end code quality, maintainability, and test coverage through best-in-class React and modern JavaScript practices.
• Drive excellent user experience outcomes by optimising application performance, responsiveness, and usability across supported devices and browsers.
• Apply modern front-end development patterns, frameworks, and tooling, keeping solutions aligned with current industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with backend engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features and resolve integration issues.
• Identify and proactively address front-end technical risks, design inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to front-end standards, reusable components, and shared libraries to improve team productivity and solution consistency.
• Support continuous improvement by reviewing code, sharing expertise, and mentoring other developers where appropriate.

What you'll need

• Bachelor / Master degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to build intuitive and complex React user interfaces that support sophisticated AI agentic application workflows for exceptional user experience.
• 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.
• Deep understanding of React.js, hooks, state management and component lifecycle.
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in Trading systems or ETRMs (Energy Trading & Risk Management).
• Operational experience of running business critical systems.

• Location: Pune, India.
• Remote type: hybrid of office/remote working.
• Travel: up to 10% travel should be expected.
