Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer (Java) to build and maintain cloud-native microservices that process large volumes of data.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Deploy and support services on AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, SNS/SQS, Lambda).
• Integrate services with search backends such as OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Solr.
• Write clean, well-tested code with unit and integration tests.
• Debug and investigate issues across services and infrastructure, including incident investigations.
• Automate development/operational workflows using Bash or Python.
• Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployments, and maintain technical documentation.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Experience with microservices architecture concepts and patterns.
• Good debugging skills, including reading logs and tracing errors across services.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, or EKS.
• Unit and integration test experience using JUnit 5 and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle and Docker/container concepts.
