Software Engineer- Backend (Golang, Python)

Overview

Software Engineer for the CX Platform team, building scalable software and integrating AI/ML capabilities to improve customer experience.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance scalable applications for CX Platform needs.
• Design reliable, high-performing systems.
• Integrate AI/ML-driven capabilities into product experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile environment.
• Contribute to architecture, development, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Deliver maintainable solutions that improve customer outcomes.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 0+ years.
• Experience with Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with one or more of: Pytest, SQL (preferably PostgreSQL), Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience with one or more of: microservices, Kubernetes, containerization, virtualization, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience integrating AI features, event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka, and real-time data pipelines.
• Experience with RESTful API design and/or API security and/or hierarchical/relational data modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps tools/practices such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git, system design, or application performance optimization.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or object storage platforms such as MinIO or Amazon S3.
• Problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing delivery skills.
