Software Engineer, Front End - Policy (Hybrid)

Overview

Front End Engineer III on CrowdStrike’s policy management team, building and maintaining the Falcon platform user interface and the policy framework for endpoint sensor configuration.

What you'll do

• Own front-end features from design through delivery, including automated tests and code reviews.
• Build reusable policy pages and components for other teams’ workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate across front-end, cloud, product management, and SDETs to align on shared infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion accessibility, performance, and scalable component architecture best practices.
• Initiate tooling improvements to enhance team productivity and developer experience.
• Participate in planning and reviews to impact product roadmap and technical architecture.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience building features for a web application.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for building web app UIs.
• Experience building web application UIs with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML & CSS.
• Experience with testing frameworks/tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of development processes.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and improve efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with graphics/visualization tools such as D3 or ThreeJS.
• Familiarity with client-side build tools such as Ember CLI or Webpack.
• Experience creating or contributing to open source projects.
• Familiarity with websockets and real-time web services.
• Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization.
• Experience with web accessibility testing and support.
