Software Engineer I

Overview

Software Engineer I role in the Customer Sustaining Team (Engineering Department) at IDBS (Danaher) in Bangalore, focused on owning and delivering software functionality and resolving customer issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues (application performance, reliability, security, memory management).
• Hands-on .NET technologies experience (C#, VB.NET, or C++).
• Exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
• Familiarity with Agile, version control, and code reviews.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to life sciences/regulated environments and quality/compliance processes.
• Knowledge of software architecture, microservices, cloud-native applications, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
• Secure coding and application security concepts, including OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with application monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
