Overview

Software Engineer I, Fullstack role focused on Affirm’s Servicing International platform—covering purchase protection (disputes and refunds) and agent tooling for support.

What you'll do

• Work on tasks contributing to the team’s projects and goals.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to create visibility on risks and trade-offs.
• Balance speed and quality to meet business goals and protect systems from downtime.
• Participate in growth and development activities with the team.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as a requirement.

What you'll need

• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Ability to turn a simple problem scenario into a solution using multiple software components.
• Write clear, well tested, extensible, easy-to-understand code.
• Comfort debugging a large code base and reviewing others’ code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with global engineering teams.
