Software Engineer II

Overview

Software Engineer II role to build and modernize features for the Adams MultiBody Dynamics application, covering back-end logic, UI extensions, modeling objects, and quality via automated tests.

What you'll do

• Implement Adams Application back-end business logic and persistence.
• Build Adams UI extensions.
• Create new modeling objects and templates for Adams.
• Modernize the Adams back-end to leverage modern hardware.
• Improve software quality using automated test coverage.
• Implement build and test pipeline logic.
• Collaborate with Adams teams in an Agile development process.

What you'll need

• 0-5 years experience.
• React, JavaScript, and Python experience.
• Scripting experience.
• Experience with multi-layered software architecture (frameworks, plug-ins, public APIs).
• VSCode + CoPilot.
• Familiarity with agentic AI for productivity gains.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• C++ coding experience.
• QT coding experience.
• Familiarity with MVVM and MVC coding patterns.
• Vtune software experience.
• JIRA experience.
• CAD/CAE familiarity.
• GPU coding experience.
