Software Engineer II - Dev Accelerator

Overview

Software Engineer II for Abnormal AI’s Dev Accelerator team, building and operating an internal developer platform that helps engineers design, build, test, and ship products quickly and safely.

What you'll do

• Develop and evolve internal developer platform capabilities used across Abnormal.
• Drive high-leverage projects covering CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure.
• Work with Python, Go, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI systems to improve “Golden Path” performance and reliability.
• Design AI-native abstractions and workflows for humans and AI agents.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Security, and partner teams.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency using AI tools to accelerate engineering outcomes across discovery, design, implementation, and rollout.
• Experience or strong interest in using LLMs to improve developer workflows.
• Familiarity with Python, Golang, Bazel, AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience in CLI development.
