Software Engineer II - Mobile Developer

Overview

Software Engineer II focused on building and maintaining mobile app features for Android and/or iOS while contributing to shared Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) code.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android or iOS app features.
• Implement scalable, stable, user-friendly features for rapid user growth.
• Accelerate development using AI-assisted tools for code generation, testing, and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and understand customer needs.
• Work in an agile environment using CI/CD, automated testing, and dev/stage/prod pipelines.
• Contribute to the shared KMP module by implementing platform-specific pieces against shared interfaces.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of strong Kotlin or Swift, expert on at least one platform.
• Solid OOP/POP and TDD fundamentals.
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) as part of the workflow.
• Modern mobile stack experience: Jetpack Compose and Coroutines/Flow, plus DI (Hilt/Koin/Dagger) and testing (Espresso, JUnit, Mockk), or iOS equivalents.
• Testing and platform tooling including CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or Android equivalents.
• Working competence on the other mobile platform if not expert-level.
• Excellent written/spoken English and a self-starter approach to learning new tools.
