Software Engineer III (Dot Net- Webforms)

Overview

Software Engineer III focused on building and maintaining web applications and backend APIs, with responsibilities spanning development, debugging, testing support, documentation, and user/customer collaboration.

What you'll do

• Develop web application prototypes and new technologies/products.
• Build responsive, scalable web applications and database-integrated interfaces.
• Create RESTful/SOAP backend APIs with database connectivity.
• Troubleshoot defects and optimize performance across web and backend systems.
• Automate project-specific tasks and integrate data exchange with third-party systems.
• Prepare software documentation and provide timely updates and support/maintenance for existing projects.
• Coordinate with engineers and consultants to craft user stories and test scenarios.

What you'll need

• Have at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Hold a degree/diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or Computer Science/Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Work with mandatory languages: C#, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Use legacy ASP.NET Web Forms (page lifecycle, server controls, ViewState).
• Use modern .NET 8+ / ASP.NET Core with React and Next.js.
• Use SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Use Git-based workflows (GitHub or GitLab) including branching and pull-request review.

• Location: Baroda, India Office.
• Work arrangement: Hybrid working (2/3 days in the office).
