Senior Software Engineer I

Overview

Senior Software Engineer I to build and maintain modern web applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services using React, Python, and FastAPI, with exposure to Generative AI and AI-assisted development.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Python.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop secure, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Explore Generative AI technologies to enhance developer productivity and product capabilities.

What you'll need

• Strong proficiency in Python and modern API development frameworks such as Fast API.
• Solid experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborative teamwork.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
