Overview

Software Engineer III focused on building, automating, and maintaining reliable, scalable Kubernetes and cloud platform capabilities across public and private cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Manage and automate platform tools and services.
• Develop software and automation using Go, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues and define remediation plans.
• Automate Kubernetes, Istio, NGINX, and infrastructure component upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering and application teams to resolve platform blockers.
• Mentor team members and participate in technical discussions and code reviews.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux and/or Windows environments.
• 4+ years of software development experience in Go, Python, Java, or Ruby.
• 4+ years of experience with automation technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud-native technologies and public cloud platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with GKE/GCP and Kubernetes at scale.
• Experience with OpenStack and Rancher.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, SOA, service mesh, and cloud networking.
