Software Engineer III - GBS IND

Overview

Design, develop, and support secure, scalable API services for the Open Banking platform, enabling data sharing with external FinTech partners.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable API services and integration components.
• Build secure data-sharing capabilities for external FinTech integrations.
• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
• Support platform stability, capacity planning, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Drive technical design discussions and contribute to architecture strategies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, availability, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.

What you'll need

• 7–12 years of experience.
• B.E. or B.Tech qualification.
• Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and API security concepts.
• Experience supporting highly available, scalable, and resilient platforms.
• Understanding of monitoring, capacity management, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to have

• Understanding of OFX, DDA, or FDX financial industry standards.
• Familiarity with API gateways and integration platforms.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Splunk, or AppDynamics.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern integration patterns.
• Knowledge of banking, financial services, or open banking ecosystems.
