Software Engineer Product Infra: Core Services

Overview

Software Engineer on the Polaris Platform Bangalore (Legion) team, which provides the core platforms and systems that enable product engineers to build and operate scalable, reliable applications in the cloud and the on-prem version of the control plane.

What you'll do

• Build platforms, systems and infrastructure using a strong background in distributed systems and large scale storage systems.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• 6 months - 1 year of total work experience.
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages like Java, C/C++, Scala, Python, C#.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with C++.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure or other public cloud technologies.
• Experience working with two or more of the following: Unix/Linux environments, Windows environments, distributed systems, networking, developing large software systems, file systems, storage systems, hypervisors, databases and/or security software development.
• Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, microservice architectures.
