Software Engineer - Senior Associate

Overview

Software Engineer - Senior Associate within PwC Acceleration Center, contributing to the design, development and support of data engineering solutions in the Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, integration workflows and transformation logic across cloud-based data platforms
• Build scalable data models and warehouse structures that support analytics, reporting and downstream application use cases
• Use Python, SQL and platform services such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory or AWS to implement engineering solutions
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance issues and data quality defects through root cause analysis and remediation planning
• Translate business and client requirements into technical designs, backlog items and implementation tasks for assigned workstreams
• Validate data accuracy, lineage, security controls and access requirements across source systems and target environments
• Review code, technical documentation and deliverables from junior team members to maintain consistency and technical rigor
• Coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams to communicate status, surface risks and adapt delivery plans as priorities change

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4-6 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• Demonstrating coursework or project work in data engineering
• Utilizing cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure or Snowflake
• Applying data modeling, pipeline and transformation skills
• Supporting Agile delivery and iterative solution development
• Interpreting data quality and performance tuning considerations
• Collaborating across teams while navigating ambiguity
